It's recess week dis week! woo hoo!! I am in high spirits cuz it is home sweet home again!! Anyway, the past 6 weeks of school life in NTU is really tiring tiring, hectic hectic but enriching and fun at the same time.
Energy draining Activities
1. pageant ---- 30%
2. travelling to stupid ulu ntu ---- 30%
3. lectures,tutorials,quizes ---- 10% (should have been more but i nv study much)
4. giving tuition ---- 15%
5. ABC ---- 15%
think i look 2 years older nw. *sobs* gonna apply face mask later in the week. waha, i am vain. Well, think it is a good time to reflect on my life. shall start off wif hall 1 pageant. I got hall king as my partner!! wahaha. quite an exciting and treasured experience but i dun think i would want to go through it again. but yeah, it will definitely etched in my mind.=)
and i wanna thank sharon, nigel, jinglong and jiakai for their gd luck sms-es before my pageant. damn touched by these wonderful JC-friends. u guys are deeply appreciated=)
Hm, den after pageant was a round of mugging. sucks but luckily the test was a breeze. Half of my class scored full marks. I got 9.5/10, but it's okay since I have decided to stick to my new motto : jing(4) li(4) will do. Anyway, Clement stop calling me after class so means I sorta achieved my aim so 0-le. muahaha.
Oh ya, den i had ABC main comm treat stuff to prepare. Thanks again to vicki, alexis and weilong for helping me out.
Den the last day of school was kinda sad. We(ij clique) bade goodbye to charmaine cuz she is leaving for London to further her studies. Wish her all the best and gd luck for her future endeavours!! Guess this is all part and parcel of life but I dun think I would ever want to travel alone to a faraway place to study. (See I go NTU wif so many ppl already complain like mad. ) Ha, but then maybe if I am given the opportunity, it would be different but too bad i got no sponsors.
okay, so skip those past events. no point dwelling cuz it's over! Yeah, I dun like to look baq. gonna PIA today n give tuition later. *bushed* okay, tml may be a better day cuz I'm gg shopping! =) That is an energy booster activity, i insist even if it means another deficit in my account. ( Jinglong, i surrender to you! I admit I am high-maintenance lah) haha, but i am gonna practise some finance controlling. damn broke after buying my crumpler and i bought exactly the same one as timothy. RAH!! so mafan. now must go back to the shop and swop for another colour. hah, dun get me wrong but I just don't like to have identical stuff as ppl. Since jo got the lime-green one also, guess i will just have to settle for the black or red one.
alrights, I think I will just stop here. dis entry is boring. hah, maybe cuz i got a boring life. ha.

I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned. Be it good karma or bad karma. Received a heartwarming email from someone who identifies me as "certain soon-to-be-very-fat desperate housewife".-_- haha. but dis is an interesting story, hold your breath and start reading:)
He almost didn't see the old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.
Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so . was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry.
He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you.
He said, "I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson."
Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.
As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.
Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.
He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, "And think of me."
He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.
A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. she had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan .
After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin. There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: "You don't owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you."
Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.
Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard..
She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, "Everything's gonna be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson."

This week is so long and exhausting!! and it hasn't even ended yet.*pull hairs* and I gotta do a presentation tomorrow. lookin forward to friday cuz i am go home and sprawl on my bed!! Going over to sweet's hse on sat to make jelly for ABC bbq. Well, at least it is sthg to look forward to, and meeting sam on sunday.
But....
yeah, i have a FM quiz coming soon. it is another round of mugging again.
one week left and i'll most probably be caught up wif monday abc meeting, night cycling and getting started wif the school mag. life is tiring but i believe you will only see the rainbow after the rain:)

Yay, I can finally afford to spend some time doing my shopping in PS and blogging. The ORCHARD air smells so gd!!:) I'm loving every minute of my shopping expedition. Went FOX and grabbed 2 bottoms, 4 tops plus 2 pairs of earrings frm future state. Feel so happy after that. I wanna go forever21, zara, mango,BYSI,mphosis!! shopping is really addictive and I think i am deprived for too long. No wonder sam always say she dun wanna get a bf otherwise she will just die if she doesn't haf time for shopping. Anw, really wanna thank jian wen for teaching me aa101. really crashcourse cuz i finally understood lecture 1-4 within less than 3 hrs!! Thank God it is FRIDAY!=)=)
This week has been an exceptionally busy week or maybe I am just bad at planning my own time. Anyway, there is really not enuff time to SLEEP. I told cheryl that I am gonna draw up a sleeping time-table. hahaha...must plan my sleep for the week, otherwise I will juz be listless and stony all the time. Yeah, I better rest well over the weekends to recharge. Gonna handle the lecture recordings, accounting quiz and ABC bbq on saturday. I'm in charge of food cuz according to president CHONG, I got the look of a housewife.-_- wonder if that's a compliment or wad. Anw, just gonna jing(4) li(4) for everything I do in future...so I wun feel regretful even if it doesn't turns out well.
*yawns* kinda sleepy. I'm gonna nap, wake up, and perhaps study? well..tt's if i can even wake up. =)

I decided to blog after million years of missing in action. Sorry guys but I had no laptop in my hall previously. Today is 02 September. Shall start this month neatly. Yeah, be organised. I hope. =)
Anw, I kinda enjoy dis week cuz pageant is over!!! Ha, no more meeting at 8pm at the musky music room but somehow I kinda miss the practice. and patting on sin yi's head especially!! lol.
I had the first formal ABC meeting on Monday. Yeah, I think I gonna enjoy dis cca. Ppl there really seems fun and I'm starting to like my jobscope more partly cuz i think adobe is FUN!!
spent the day learning adobe frm my sis and came up wif the cover page. Really must thank my sis for being such a dear. I wun even be bothered to teach ppl microsoft excel even if I am free, rather go and slp.
oh, and i just remembered a funny incident on Monday. went PRECIOUS MOMENTS wif Vicky to get a forever friends mug and notebook cuz it was on a 20% sale.
At the counter,
Cashier: Just to let u know ladies, this notebook is nt on 20% sale. But the orange colour version is.
Me: Whats the difference between the two?
Cashier: No difference but the colour is different. Maybe u want to take the orange version to enjoy the 20% sale.
Me: -_- OK
Cashier: Oh yar, and the mug. You see the mug is $4.90 but usually we sell it for $6.50. This is because the lid is broken but you can still use the mug if you don't mind
Me: ...........*speechless*...........
Cashier: So you still getting it? Dun worry it can still be used
Me: oh yar, getting getting.

Hm, den tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday was quite alright but I fell sick.
Oh so back to Saturday again. damn tired cuz of ABC photoshoot and i just came back from hall cuz Eve delivered the fridge over. Yes! finally we have a fridge in our room. It's gonna be grocery time again! Gonna do yogurt shopping, i love frozen marigold strawberry yogurt. rocks man. =)=)
Real glad that I went baq cuz I saw the poor kitty outside my room looking wet. She poo-ed and pee-ed in the cage n she really look wet, dirty and scared. Thank God Eve was around, otherwise, I really didn't know wad to do wif her. She carried her out of the cage while I cleaned the cage. sigh...really dun think cats should get caged up and she is quite big already. Wei An and Jing yi also feel she's v poor thing. After that, Wei An drove us back home. After Eve and Jing yi left, we started toking about bgrs. lol. I just realised that 26 year olds and 19 year olds really think damn differently but wadever he says make sense lah. *gain insights* Den after I got home, my sis told me that he is dating the SK jewellery lao ban's daughter. Woah....
Yipee!! I hope the new week will be good. Gonna start my week well by doing aa101 tutorial.
Ruixin damn funny la, called me up ytd to tell me she saw CLEMENT TAN at some hawker centre. eh rui, we muz prove him wrong k? next time we can start counting whose name he calls more often in class. Winner must treat barley frm Canteen B. hee.
